Personality of the Idealist INFP in Friendship

The Ideal as a Friend:

The ideal friend is someone affectionate and compassionate, valuing authenticity and depth in their friendships. They're usually attuned to the emotions and motivations of others, thus able to connect with various types of people. However, the ideal individual reserves a part of themselves from most people, except for a chosen few with whom they would want to establish close and lasting relationships. Due to the high standards that govern the ideal's personality, they often tend to form relationships with emotional intuitives or those known as "ideals."

Due to their aversion to conflicts and disputes, the ideal might feel threatened by individuals with strict and rational dispositions. Although capable of working or collaborating with them on a project, they won't accept them on a personal level. Generally, the ideal gravitates towards and accepts individuals who are more "emotional."

The ideal's friends appreciate their sincerity, selflessness, nurturing nature, depth, and authenticity.
